摘要
通过引入工具变量,构建中介效应模型,系统探究2005~2018年中国四大城市群经济集聚对用水强度的影响机制。结果发现:提高经济集聚程度能够有效抑制用水强度(-0.78),但抑制强度呈倒“U”型走势;同时,经济集聚还通过城镇化和环境规制的中介效应对用水强度产生显著影响,高经济密度城市对用水强度的间接抑制作用通过城镇化和环境规制来传导,低经济密度城市仅通过城镇化对用水强度产生间接影响。因此,城市群发展过程中应积极发挥经济集聚对节水降耗的影响,注重经济密度异质性对用水强度的作用机制,增强环境规制力度及绿色技术创新能力,加快节水型城市建设。
Through the introduction of instrumental variables and construction of the mediating effect model,the paper systematically explores the impact mechanism of the economic agglomeration of China's four major urban agglomerations on water intensity from 2005 to 2018.Results show that increasing the degree of economic agglomeration can effectively restrain water intensity(-0.78),but the restraint intensity shows an inverted U-shaped trend.Economic agglomeration also has a significant impact on water intensity through the intermediary effects of urbanization and environmental regulations.The indirect inhibitory effect of high economic density cities on water intensity is conducted through urbanization and environmental regulations,while low economic density cities have an indirect impact on water intensity through urbanization.Therefore,in the urban agglomerations development,the impact of economic agglomeration on water saving and consumption reduction should be actively brought into play.What’s more,it is necessary to lay emphasis on the mechanism of economic density heterogeneity on water intensity,strengthen the environmental regulation and green technology innovation capabilities in order to accelerate the construction of water-saving cities.
