On the geographic naming culture of Nedong Area of Lhokha City with reference from the geographic glossaries

山南乃东是藏源文化重镇。文章以地名语词文化为研究视角,解读山南乃东地区地名语词文化的文化内涵,分析和归纳了山南乃东地名结构中的通名所体现的乃东地区地理地貌和历史演变,概述了乃东地名中的专名所体现的乃东地区物质文明、制度文化、精神文明等文化景观。

This article,first of all defines geographic glossary,discusses the cultural siginificance of the geographic glossaries of the Nedong area of Lhokha City.Secondly,landforms and landscape devastation reflected from the construction of the general names in the area of Nedong have been analysed.Thirdly,how the specific names found in Nedong area indicate the background of the material civilization,institutional culture and spiritual civilization in Nedong area.
