In order to explore the role of preventive maintenance on the normal operation of large-scale open-pit mining equipment and economic benefits of enterprises,this article expounds the meaning,classification and content of preventive maintenance of equipment.According to the characteristics of open-pit mining equipment,the article analyzes the significance of preventive maintenance in the maintenance of open-pit mining equipment.The research shows that preventive maintenance is very important in the application of open-pit mining equipment,which can effectively improve the efficiency of equipment operation,save maintenance costs.
