工程教育视角下“机械工程导论”课程的教学改革

Teaching Reform of Introduction to Mechanical Engineering fromPerspective of Engineering Education

应用型高校机械类专业培养的大学生是未来的工程师,其工程素养是专业培养的核心目标之一。“机械工程导论”课程是机械大类专业学生专业认知的第一门课程,也是学生工程素养培养的开端。工程教育视角下,针对机械大类专业学生的工程素养培养要求和“机械工程导论”课程对毕业要求的支撑,分析了“机械工程导论”课程教学存在的不足,提出了基于OBE理念的课程目标,构建了理论结合实践的课程体系,改进了课程教学内容和考核方式。教学改革实践效果表明,“机械工程导论”课程改革对培养学生的工程意识和提升其实践能力有着积极的促进作用。

Undergraduates of mechanical majors in applied universities are future engineers,and their engineering literacy cultivation is one of the core objectives of professional training.Introduction to Mechanical Engineering is the first course of professional cognition for students majoring in mechanical engineering and the beginning of the cultivation of students'engineering literacy.From the perspective of engineering education,in view of the engineering literacy training requirements of mechanical majors and the support of the Introduction to Mechanical Engineering course for graduation requirements,this paper analyzes the deficiencies in the teaching of Introduction to Mechanical Engineering and proposes curriculum goals based on OBE philosophy.The curriculum system that combines theory with practice has been constructed,and curriculum teaching content and assessment methods have been improved.The practical effect of the teaching reform shows that the curriculum reform of Introduction to Mechanical Engineering has a positive role in cultivating students'engineering awareness and improving their practical ability.
