家族控制、产品市场竞争与企业社会责任--基于经济目标与社会情感财富目标的双重视角

摘要 针对家族控制影响企业社会责任内在机制相关研究的不足,基于家族企业系统理论,从经济目标和社会情感财富目标的双重视角出发,选取2013-2016年我国沪深A股上市家族企业作为研究样本,检验了家族控制对企业社会责任履行的影响,同时考察了产品市场竞争(划分为市场集中度和企业竞争地位两个层面)在其中的调节作用。结果表明,家族控制对企业社会责任履行的影响呈倒U形关系;企业竞争地位削弱了家族控制与社会责任的倒U形关系,市场集中度在其中的调节作用不显著。该研究结论不仅从经济目标和社会情感财富目标的综合视角揭示了中国情境下家族控制影响企业社会责任的内在机制,而且在实践方面为家族企业社会责任履行提供了相关政策建议。 This paper focuses on the deficiency of research related to the internal mechanism of family control affecting corporate social responsibility.Based on the theory of family business system,this paper selects Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed family firms from 2013 to 2016 as the research samples to discuss the relationship between family control and corporate social responsibility performance from the dual perspectives of family business economic goals and social emotional wealth goals,while examining the moderating effect of product market competition(divided into two levels:market concentration and competitive position of enterprise)on it.The result shows that family control has an inverted U-shaped relationship with corporate social responsibility performance,but the competitive position of enterprises weakens the inverted U-shaped relationship between family control and social responsibility,and the moderating effect of market concentration is not significant.The research conclusion not only reveals the internal mechanism of family control influencing corporate social responsibility from the dual perspective of economic goals and social emotional wealth goals in China,but also provides relevant policy recommendations for family companies to fulfill their social responsibilities in practice.
