Design and application of an ankle joint pressurizer for MRI examination

摘要 设计一种用于在磁共振(MR)检查中模拟站立姿势状态的踝关节加压装置,选取27例踝关节疼痛症状站立困难,且MR检查无踝关节损伤的部队官兵患者为观察组;同期招募30名大学在校学生为健康对照组。两组均采用MR检查,通过探索新型检查方法,以提高临床踝关节轻微损伤检出率。踝关节加压装置由数种材质不同的非金属材料制作的单侧踝关节加压固定器,踝关节加压器良好的模拟站立姿态,在MR检查过程中施加体重的一半压力,使踝关节MR检查处于负重状态,并选取踝关节正中矢状面的前、中、后3点,测量距骨骨皮质与胫骨骨皮质的距离。对两组受试者检查后,图像无金属伪影干扰,图像质量优秀,符合影像图像质量控制要求。该踝关节加压装置能够良好模拟伤病员站立状态,置踝关节处于近似站立姿势,在MR检查中可以有效暴露出踝关节隐匿性损伤,对早期诊断和早期干预治疗踝关节功能起到一定作用。 To design a pressurizer device of ankle joint for simulating standing position in magnetic resonance(MR)examination.27 soldiers and officers with joint pain symptom and difficult stand who didn’t have injury of ankle joint as the results of MR examination were selected as the observation group,and 30 college students were recruited as the control group at the same time.Both two groups adopted MR examination,and the relevance ratio of slight injury of clinical ankle joint was increased through exploring new type of examination method.The pressure device of ankle joint was one kind of pressing fixator of unilateral ankle joint which was made by numerous types of non-metallic material with different texture.This pressurizer could favorably simulate stand posture.The pressure of pressurizer was one half of body weight in the process of MR examination,which took the MR examination of ankle joint in bearing load situation.And the 3 points included front,middle and rear of sagittal surface at the center of ankle joint were selected,and the distances of bone cortexes of astragalus and tibia were measured.The results of examination on the subjects of two groups indicated that there was not disturb of metal artifact in images,and the image quality was excellent,which met the requirement of quality control of image.This pressurizer device of ankle joint can favorably simulate the stand situation of the sick and wounded patients and take the ankle joint to the similar standing posture.In addition,it can effectively reveal the hidden injury of ankle joint in MR examination,and it play a certain role in early diagnosis and early intervention treatment for the function of ankle joint.
