On the Discourse Approach to Knowledge in Social Science

传统主客二分的知识图景导致了客观主义与相对主义的对立,社会科学亟需一种新的方式来审视区别于自然科学的知识特征。话语作为一种可能的方案,通过转变客观性观念,突出知识在对话实践意义上的“真”,并根据知识在话语中的信念特征与辩护模式,表明这种研究进路有助于凸显出社会科学知识的主体间性、地方性与语境性。

The traditional subject-object dichotomy of knowledge has led to the opposition between objectivism and relativism.Social sciences need a new approach to examine the characteristics of knowledge that are different from those of natural sciences.Discourse,as a possible way,emphasizes the“truth”of knowledge in the context of dialogue practice by changing the concept of objectivity.Moreover,according to the belief characteristics and justified modes of knowledge in the discourse,this paper shows that the discourse approach is helpful to highlight the intersubjective,local and contextual characteristics of social science knowledge.
