Based on a practical example,the characteristics and current situation of the internal pipe network in an old residential community are introduced,and the design direction of reconstruction of the internal pipe network in an old residential community is put forward.Its internal drainage system can be perfected by the implementation of rainwater and sewage separation in the old residential community.At the same time,some sponge measures are taken to improve the environment of the community.The reconstruction scheme summarized from this can be referred for the similar projects in the comprehensive improvement of urban water environment.
