摘要
炎症是机体非常重要的病理过程,包括损伤、抗损伤和修复等一系列步骤,是由许多细胞和物质共同参与构成的复杂反应,但这种保护机制在过于激烈或持久时也会造成伤害或疾病。由S100钙结合蛋白家族成员S100A8和S100A9聚合而成的钙卫蛋白已被证明在感染性疾病、免疫性疾病、代谢性疾病、退行性疾病等相关炎症进程中发挥了不容忽视的作用,对炎症相关疾病的诊断、评估甚至治疗具有重要意义。
Inflammation is a very important pathological process in the body, which includes a series of steps such as injury, anti-injury and repair. It is a complex reaction involving lots of cells and substances. However, this protective mechanism can also cause damage or disease when it is excessively intense or persistent. Calprotectin is aggregated by S100 A8 and S100 A9, which are members of calcium-binding S100 protein family. It has been shown to play a significant role in the inflammatory process associated with infectious diseases, immune diseases, metabolic diseases and degenerative disease, and has important meaning to the diagnosis, evaluation and even treatment of inflammation-related diseases.
