Jenisgul became the inheritor of traditional clothing of the Kazak ethnic group, a national intangible cultural heritage of China. When I met Jenisgul, she was discussing a design with an embroiderer. She greeted me with an energetic smile in her elegant and blue velvet dress embroidered with Kazak patterns.
