中国是最大的马铃薯生产国和主要的贸易国。自20世纪90年代以来,中国马铃薯的产量迅速增加,贸易规模不断扩大。特别是2000年以来,马铃薯播种面积从473万公顷增长到491万公顷,产量从6632万吨增长到9188万吨。贸易额从6433.6万美元增长到6.6亿美元,增加了近10倍,且顺差趋势明显。中国马铃薯出口的主要品种是食用鲜薯,进口的主要品种是冷冻薯条。出口市场主要是周边的国家和地区,进口的主要来源是北美和欧洲等马铃薯主产品和加工技术较发达的地区。

China is the largest potato producer and a major trading country.Since the 1990s,China’s potato production has increased rapidly and the scale of trade has escalated.Especially since 2000,the sown area of potato has increased from 4.73 million hectares to 4.91 million ones,and the output has increased from 66.32 million tons to 91.88 million ones.The trade volume grew from$64.336 million to$660 million,which increased nearly 10 times,and the surplus trend was obvious.The main export of potato in China is fresh sweet potatoes,and the main imported varieties are frozen chips.The export markets are mainly surrounding countries and regions,and the main sources of imports are North America and Europe and other regions with more developed potato processing technology.
