Contribution of adult-born neurons to memory consolidation during rapid eye movement sleep

摘要 Introduction: Memory consolidation stabilizes newly acquired memories by integrating them into pre-existing memory networks, which is thought to occurvia changes in synaptic strength. Sleep may influence memory consolidation by modifying synaptic strength through local neuronal oscillatory activity.
