The implementation of the waste classification system can reduce waste,turn garbage into resources and make the garbage harmless.The state implements policies for waste classification,energy conservation and emission reduction,and the development of a circular economy,encourages economic and technological innovation,accelerates the construction of new socialist countryside,accelerates the urbanization process to greatly improve people's living standards,drives the rise of domestic consumption and other positive factors have directly promoted the sustainable development of the plastic industry.This paper introduces the circular economy,the current situation of the plastics industry in China and the new sustainable materials,and some suggestions for the development of plastics industry.
