Experience of Professor ZHENG Huifang in Differentiation and Treatment of Dysmenorrhea Based on“Deficiency,Accumulated Cold and Stagnated Qi”

郑惠芳教授认为“虚、冷、结气”是妇人病的致病总纲,临证以此阐释痛经病机,认为脾胃素虚、寒气凝滞、气机不畅导致寒瘀痰湿胶着,病机因果相干,虚实错杂,致痛经发生,久之还可变生癥瘕顽疾,缠绵难愈。故治疗上遵循补虚、散寒、行气的原则,分期治疗,并自拟舒经汤施用临床。附验案2则。

Professor ZHENG Huifang holds that“deficiency,accumulated cold and stagnated qi”are the general disease mechanism of gynecology.In clinic,she uses this understanding to explain the disease mechanism of dysmenorrhea.She holds that the deficiency of spleen and stomach,coagulation of cold qi,and unsmooth qi movement,cause intermingled cold,blood stasis and phlegm dampness,and on the disease mechanism disease cause and disease result are interrelated,and deficiency and excess are mixed,manifesting as dysmenorrhea,even gradually developing into stubborn abdominal mass,which is lingering and difficult to heal.Therefore,in the treatment,the treatment methods of tonifying deficiency,dispelling cold,and moving qi are used,and the treatment should be applied according to different stages.She invented Shujing Decoction(舒经汤)to treat dysmenorrhea.There are 2 proved cases cited.
