Tense Paradigm of Public History in Images

公众影像史学是公众史学学科体系下的一个重要部分。学界对公众影像史学的研究要从其成果出发,搜集和分析现有的公众影像史学作品,如此才能对公众影像史学有所了解。公众影像史学作品以时态类型为标准进行分类,有即时记录和事后回溯两种类型。其中,即时记录传承了古代私人日记的形式,但在记录手段、记录时间上有了较大创新。现在的即时记录以传播甚广的视频日志形式为主。而事后回溯多通过口述历史的方式,结合影像记录,串联历史与当下,使历史更贴近公众生活。故而时态范型是为了让公众影像能够更注重历史学的“时间”概念,让公众影像史学作品得到更好的发展。

Historiophoty or public history in images,namely,the representation of history in visual images and filmic discourse,is an important component of the academic discipline of public history.Starting from its existing achievements,researchers on public history in images should collect and analyze existing works of public history in images to have a deeper insight.Classification of public history in images can be made in terms of its tense paradigm,namely,real-time recording and back-tracking.Real-time recording inherits the form of ancient private diary,but differs innovatively in recording means and recording time.For the time being,the most popular form of real-time recording is video blog/log(or Vlog).On the other hand,back-tracking is mostly conducted through the form of oral history,while combining with video recording to connect the past and the present and to make history closer to public life.Therefore,tense paradigm is aimed at introducing the concept of“time”in historical studies,so as to promote the sound development of public history in images.
