国外学术期刊评价的历史演进与发展趋势分析

On the History Line and Development Trends of Academic Journal Evaluation out of China

学术期刊是文献信息资源的重要组成部分。随着各类学科的逐步发展,学者们对学术期刊的性质、特点、功能及人们利用文献规律等诸多方面进行研究,逐步发现并建立了适合学术期刊不同历史发展阶段的评价方法、体系和工具。文章对国外学术期刊评价的历史发展脉络进行了梳理,将其分为前评价时期(二次文献间接评价期)、萌芽期、基础理论诞生期、深化发展期四个阶段,分析了不同时期学术期刊评价的特点,并从新兴媒体相关数据被纳入评价数据、不同评价指标深度融合两个方面对未来学术期刊评价的走向进行分析和解读。

Academic journals are an integrated part of literature information.With the development of disciplines,scholars have been identifying evaluation methods,systems and tools that adapt to different phases of academic journals based on the natures,characteristics,functions and the using rules.The paper studies the historical line of academic journal evaluation and analyzes the different characteristics of different periods,which may be divided into four parts,pre-evaluation period(evaluation by abstract and index journals),germination period,the birth period of basic theory and deepening development period.It also analyzes and interprets the trend of future academic journal evaluation from two aspects:data related to emerging media will be used in the evaluation and different evaluation indexes may be deeply integrated.
