WANG Jingqing's experience in treatment of vestibular neuritis from perspective of TCM wind evil

前庭神经炎(VN)性眩晕发病时以眩晕、平衡障碍、振动性幻视,伴恶心呕吐等为主要临床表现,多因劳累、熬夜或体质虚弱时遇气温变化而诱发,多有上感病史,如风招致,发病过程离不开"风邪"。王敬卿教授认为中医治疗VN性眩晕,应从风邪角度分阶段论治,巧用风药,祛外风息内风,并兼祛他邪、安他脏。

Vestibular neuritis(VN)is a common disease that causes vertigo,balance disorder,vibratory vision with nausea and vomit.It is mainly induced by fatigue,staying up late,or weak constitution when the temperature changes.It usually has medical history of upper respiratory tract infection and the process of disease is inseparable from“wind evil”.Professor WANG Jingqing considers that vestibular neuritis in TCM should be treated in stages from the perspective of wind evil.Therefore,wind-dispelling drugs should be used flexibly to remove the external and internal wind evil,as well as dispel the other evil and appease the other viscera.
