The Communist Party of China(CPC)’s thought of protecting farmers’ rights embodies the inheritance and development of Marxist view on human rights, and shows the value concern for dealing with farmers’ problems in modern China and safeguarding their rights and interests.In the course of one century’s development, the CPC,on the basis of considering national conditions and boosting theoretical innovation, has been actively fostering institutional reform and strengthening legal protection, thus accumulating rich ideological experience in the process of promoting the progressive and multi-dimensional development of Chinese farmers’ rights.Summarizing and carrying forward the existing ideological experience is helpful to respond to the farmers’ yearning for a better life in the new era according to the law, and can play an effective guiding role in consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation and implementing the rural revitalization strategy.
