In this paper, the existing food testing technology and its main problems in China are summarized, and the development trend of the industry is deeply analyzed, in order to provide reference for food production and testing departments. At the same time, in order to meet the growing needs of people for food safety, the relevant departments should improve the food safety testing standards in time, and the relevant testing institutions should update the testing equipment in time, so as to solve the problems existing in food safety testing. In addition, the development and application of new food safety detection technologies need to rely on the mutual penetration andintegration of multiple disciplines and technologies, and complement each other.
