摘要
基于中国教育追踪调查基线数据,利用倾向得分匹配法探究语文、英语及数学课外补习对初中生相应学科成绩的影响,并重点对学科差异进行比较。研究发现,英语和数学补习可以显著提高学生英语和数学成绩,且英语补习效果更优;语文补习对学生语文成绩无显著影响。一方面,建议学校进行分层教学,提升教学质量;有效利用课后时间开展答疑活动;引导学生理性补习。另一方面,应通过立法规范、行政监管、网络监督等方式推进课外补习的规范化管理。
The influence of extracurricular tuition of Chinese,mathematics,and English on junior middle school students'academic achievement is explored and the subject differences are compared by propensity score matching method based on the baseline data of China Education Panel Survey.It is found that English and mathematics tuition has significantly positive effects on students'academic performance,and the effect of English tuition is more significant,while Chinese tuition has no significant effect on students'performance.Schools should implement graded teaching to improve teaching quality,effectively spend after-school time handling queries,and guide students to have rational tuition.Meanwhile,the standardized management of extracurricular tuition can be improved by ways of legislative regulation,administrative supervision and network monitoring.
