On Consolidating and Safeguarding the Cause of National Unity and Progress in Accordance with the Law

General secretary Xi Jinping once put forward that"The national unity could be guaranteed and the relationship between ethnic groups could become firm if only people establish a belief in the law and act consciously according to the law."Therefore,we could improve the science and standardization of the cause of national unity and progress only through solving people's problems and managing people’s affairs in accordance with the law.Based on the analysis of the regulations to promote national unity and progress in Inner Mongolia,Qinghai,Xinjiang,Guizhou,Yunnan and other provinces and autonomous regions,this paper discusses the necessity,characteristics and values of formulating relevant regulations to promote the cause of national unity and progress.
