This paper briefly introduces the basic principle of ground penetrating radar(GPR),and analyzes the abnormal characteristics of electromagnetic wave reflection in underground air-raid shelter through the application of hidden danger regulation project of Shanghai exitting Civil Defense List project,thus,the position of underground air-raid shelter can be accurately located,and the basis for the evaluation and renovation of underground air-raid shelter can be provided.
