微地图符号的视觉变量及其应用 被引量:9

Visual variables of We-Maps symbols and their applications

摘要 视觉变量是微地图在设计表达过程中的关键部分,该文针对现有视觉变量研究成果并不完全适用于微地图这一问题,研究并提出了微地图符号的视觉变量。通过对比分析微地图与常用地图的不同,得到了微地图符号简单化、多元化、个性化、模块化的特点,在此基础上提出了符合微地图符号特点的视觉变量表达方式;考虑用户、环境、地物3个方面的影响,应用微地图视觉变量设计了微地图符号;实现了校园导航微地图的设计,并运用问卷调查验证了微地图视觉变量表达及应用的合理性。结果表明,提出的理论及方法能较好地表达微地图内容,能够为微地图的应用提供理论支持。 Visual variable is one of the most critical parts in We-Map designing and expression.Aiming at the problem that existing achievements in visual variable is not fully applicable to the We-Maps,the paper systematically studies and proposes visual variable of We-Map symbols.Firstly,the differences between We-Maps and professional maps are obtained by comparation and analysis,and the characteristics of We-Maps symbols are obtained:simplification,diversification,personalization,modularization.On this basis,the expression method of visual variable suitable for the characteristics of We-Map symbols is proposed.It secondly considers the impact of users,environment,and features.And this paper designs We-Map symbols basing on the visual variables of We-Maps.After this,it designs a campus navigation We-Map and conducts a surveying using questionnaire for the purpose of verifying justifiability of the We-Map visual variables expression and application.The results show that the theories and methods proposed in this article can express We-Maps well and provide theoretical support for the applications of We-Maps.
