摘要
ETL(Extraction Transformation Loading)主要用来实现异构多数据源的数据集成,是数据仓库、数据挖掘以及商业智能等技术的基石。笔者探讨了ETL在高校数据集成中的应用,首先阐述了ETL的设计策略及实现方法,进而提出以Kettle为基础,通过对异构子系统的抽取、转换形成共享数据,最后通过实际的实施案例验证ETL的可靠性及其优势。
ETL is mainly used to realize the data integration of heterogeneous multiple data sources. It is the cornerstone of data warehouse, data mining and business intelligence technology. This paper discusses the application of ETL in the data integration of colleges and universities. Firstly, it describes the design strategy and implementation method of ETL, and then proposes to form shared data through the extraction and transformation of heterogeneous subsystems based on kettle. Finally, it verifies the reliability and advantages of ETL through the actual implementation case.
