Research on YUN Nantian's Coloring of Flower Painting

恽南田以对北宋徐崇嗣没骨法的想象为据,"独开生面",创出极具个性的绘画新面貌。他既重视传统,又主张写自然之生意,有着深刻的画学自觉意识。其没骨花卉画,用笔秀润,设色清丽,画风灵动澄净,呈现出浓淡相宜的色彩特征,常以生动而微妙的色彩变化,表现出幽深淡远的境界。

Based on the imagination of XU Chongsi's boneless painting style in the Northern Song Dynasty,YUN Nantian created a new painting with unique personality.He not only valued tradition,but also advocated painting the nature full of vitality,and had a deep consciousness of painting.His boneless flower paintings were beautifully painted with brushes,clear and beautiful in color.Yun's style of the painting is elegant and clear,showing the characteristics of suitable shades.What is more,it often shows a deep and far-reaching realm with vivid and subtle color changes.
