摘要
该文综合而系统地探究近代广州著名建筑师杨锡宗的园林设计实践。基于对杨锡宗教育背景和执业经历的梳理,尝试解读他关于城市公园、纪念陵园、大学校园的规划设计思想,认识其设计理论和特征的变化,从移植西方园林形式的"公共性"特征,再到借鉴西洋古典建筑语言的"纪念性"风格,回归于讲求本土形胜与礼制的"传统性"内涵。杨锡宗的园林实践深刻影响了广州近代城市园林的发展,同时推动了中西文化的交汇与共融。
In this paper we make a comprehensive and systematic study on Yang Xizong's landscape architectural practices in modern Guangzhou.Through the analysis of Yang Xizong's educational background,and professional experience,we attempted to interpret his planning and design concepts for urban parks,cemeteries and university campuses.We also investigated how Yang Xizong absorbed the public nature of Western public park,learned from the commemorative form of classical architectural language,and responded to the scenic spot and ritual culture for local innovation.Yang Xizong's practices significantly influenced the development of urban landscapes in modern Guangzhou and promoted the exchange and integration of Chinese and Western cultures.
