Eye detection is an important research object in the field of computer vision,and it is also the key precondition of face detection,iris segmentation and eye tracking technology,which is widely used in various scenes.The projection function can be used to analyze image features and extract the pivotal points of image.Abundant studies indicate that the projection function can effectively detect eyes.This paper introduces the principle of various methods for eye detection based on projection function and analyzes their characteristics in detail,hoping to provide reference for related researchers.
