Objective To investigate the impacts of optimizing emergency nursing process on incidence of complications and recovery rate of patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning. Methods A total of 70 patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities from July 2017 to July 2020 were selected as the research objects and analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into the control group(n=35)and the observation group(n=35)according to different ways of admission. The control group was admitted to hospital by their families and received emergency nursing after admission, while the observation group received optimized emergency nursing process, including pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency nursing. The recovery rate and incidence of complications of the two groups were compared. Results The recovery rate of the observation group was 77.14%,which was higher than 54.29%of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 8.57%,which was lower than 31.43%in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning, optimizing the emergency nursing process can improve the recovery rate and reduce the incidence of complications. Therefore,it has outstanding application value.
