The persistence of technological innovation in drug research is inseparable from basic drug research.This article sorts out and analyzes the current status of basic drug research in China through relevant literature,discusses the importance of basic drug research,and demonstrates basic research through economic analysis of basic research.It shows that the impact of basic research results on any economy can not be ignored,and it is necessary for the government to intervene in basic research activities in order to promote drug innovation and development in China.
