Research on the Special Care Work of the Army in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region During the War of Liberation

解放战争是由中国共产党领导的,以推翻国民党统治为目的,为解放全中国而进行的人民战争,并最终以中国共产党的胜利而结束。军队作为战争的主体,必然就成为决定胜负的关键。在解放战争期间,陕甘宁边区政府通过出台优待军人家属、抚恤革命烈士及荣誉军人、安置退伍军人等一系列政策,保障了军人地位,稳定了后方环境,使得军人在前线安心战事,后方家属稳定生产,为解放战争的胜利奠定了良好基础。

The War of Liberation was a people's war led by the Communist Party of China for the purpose of overthrowing the rule of Kuomintang and liberating the whole China,which ended with the victory of the Communist Party of China.The army as the main body of the war became the key to determining victory or defeat.During the War of Liberation,the government in the Shannxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region carried out a series of policies such as preferential treatment for the families of the soldiers,pension for revolutionary martyrs and honored soldiers,veterans resettlement,etc.which safeguarded the soldiers’status,stabilized the rear environment,eased the soldiers fighting in the front line and made their families produce steadily,laying a good foundation for the victory of the War of Liberation.
