战后北碚乡村建设与相辉学院

The Rural Construction in Beibei After the War of Resistance against the Japanese Invasion and Private Xianghui College

由卢作孚主导和推动的北碚乡村建设是以教育文化建设为主干、以“人的现代化”为根本目的的“乡村城市化”改造工程,其乡村城市化程度到抗战胜利时已达到全国领先水平。抗战胜利后,卢作孚等人竭力推动利用复旦大学在北碚办学所遗校产,创办了一所新校——私立相辉学院,在为大后方保留高等教育“火种”的同时,也使得北碚继续保有覆盖各教育阶段的完整教育体系。更为重要的是,相辉学院被纳入北碚乡村建设的新一轮规划中,并带动了北碚其他事业的继续发展。相辉学院的创办反映出卢作孚所秉持的以教育建设为核心的乡村建设思想以及其为战后中国社会建设所作出的积极努力。

The Rural ConstructioninBeibe led and promoted by Lu Zuofuwas a“rural urbanization”reconstruction project with education and culture construction as the backbone and“human modernization”as the fundamental purpose.Obviously the degree of“rural urbanization”in Beibei had reached the national leading level after the War of Resistance against the Japanese Invasion.Lu Zuofu and others tried their best to promote the establishment of a new school—Private XianghuiCollegeusing the legacy ofFudan University in Beibei during the War.The establishment of thePrivate XianghuiCollege not only retainedthe higher education for the rear area,but also helped Beibei to maintain a complete education system covering all stages of education.More importantly,Private XianghuiCollege was included in the new round of overall planning of the Rural Construction in Beibeiafter the war.In a word,the running of Private XianghuiCollege not only reflected Lu Zuofu's idea of rural construction with education as the core,but also provided a practical and feasible solution for China's post-war social construction of a modern country.
