Xi Jinping wrote to all editors of the editorial department of Literature, History and Philosophy, which was ambitious, profound, genuine and sincere. It fully affirmed the contributions of several generations of editors, provided new guidelines for the prosperity of philosophy and social sciences, and placed ardent expectations for the development of high-quality academic journals in the new era. We must conscientiously study and deeply understand the directions, times, objectives, struggles and mission requirements contained in the important reply. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a new era, we should conscientiously implement the spirit of the important reply, strengthen political positions, build ideological positions, actively serve the overall situation of the Party and State, and promote culture.
