Differences in Views of Time in Cross-cultural Communication and Foreign Language Teaching

时间作为非言语交际的重要组成部分,无形中影响着人们的交际活动。不同国家具有不同的时间观念,这往往会产生交际误解和文化冲突。本文从时间取向、时间系统和时间观念等几方面探讨了时间观差异对跨文化交际的影响,并针对这一问题,分析了在外语实际教学中可以采取的教学对策。

Time,as an important element in nonverbal communication,may affect communicative activities without being noticed.People in different countries have different views of time,which often leads to misunderstanding and cultural conflicts in communication.This paper discusses the influence of the differences in views of time on cross-cultural communication from time orientation,time system and views of time,and in this regard,analyzes the feasible teaching strategies in actual foreign language teaching.
