This paper analyzes the indications,prescription composition,medicinal action,methods of decocting medicinals and administration,and prescription characteristics etc.of"prescription for the treatment of abdominal mass and abscess in extra gastrointestines",and makes a comparative analysis with similar prescriptions in literature of later generations.It is found that the medication of this prescription is flexible,simple and effective,which is the basic prescription of treating type of abdominal mass diseases for doctors in later generations.It has precious medical value,which is worth further research and application in clinic.It is necessary to dig into its potential value,broaden its application scope,thus providing medication thinking for TCM treatment of epigastric and abdominal abscess and other related diseases.
