Dendritic and Fractal Patterns in Electrochemical Deposition of Silver

摘要 Electrochemical deposition were carried out using silver nitrate(AgNO3),with Lang-muir monolayer at the interface of solution.Pattern formation was studied as a function of applied voltage and surface pressure.We found four different growth forms in this system.A transition from ordered dendritic crystals to disordered ramified patterns is found when the applied voltage increases most strikingly,from dendritic crystal to disordered ramified patterns,a dense two-dimensional silver film with fractal clearance is obtained.
