9个秋葵品种种子特性比较

Comparison of Seed Characteristics of Nine Okra Varieties

以晋中地区栽培的9个秋葵品种为材料,研究不同品种、不同结实期的种子特性,为其在晋中地区栽培管理提供理论依据。结果表明,9个秋葵品种种子长度为4.34~5.08 mm,宽度为3.85~4.30 mm,厚度为4.08~4.91 mm,种子千粒质量为51.480~65.340 g,总体7月结实的种子大小及千粒质量高于8月;秋葵种子含水量为0.73%~4.48%,不同品种不同月份秋葵种子的含水量差异不显著;种子发芽率为35.56%~97.78%,其中,1T、2J、3L、6Y、8DH品种7月结实的种子发芽率高于8月,而4M、5H、7R、9DL品种8月结实的种子发芽率高于7月,秋葵种皮黏液质对种子萌发作用不明显。综合比较可知,1T、2J、3L、6Y、8DH品种7月份的种子和4M、5H、7R、9DL品种8月份的种子品质较好,更适宜在晋中地区进行繁育栽培。

Nine okra varieties were cultivated in Jinzhong of Shanxi province.The seed characteristics of different varieties and different fruit-setting periods were studied to provide theoretical basis for okra cultivation in Jinzhong area.Seed morphology,water content,germination characteristics and mucilage were compared.The results showed that okra seeds ranged in length from 4.34 mm to 5.08 mm,width from 3.85 mm to 4.30 mm,thickness from 4.08 mm to 4.91 mm,and 1000-grain quality from 51.480 g to 65.340 g.The seeds size and 1000-grain quality of different varieties in July were higher than that in August.The moisture content of okra seeds was from 0.73%to 4.48%,and there was no significant difference between different varieties and the different fruit-setting periods.The germination rate of different varieties was 35.56%-97.78%,and the germination rate of 1T,2J,3L,6Y and 8DH were higher in July,while that of 4M,5H,7R and 9DL were higher in August.The mucilage of okra seed coat showed no obvious effect on seed germination.With comprehensive comparison of the seed quality,the seeds of 1T,2J,3L,6Y,8DH(fruit-setting in July)and 4M,5H,7R,9DL(fruit-setting in August)can be better propagated and cultivated in Jinzhong area.
