商务英语专业学士学位论文词块使用特征研究

A Study of the Features of Lexical Bundles in Business English Bachelor’s Dissertation

基于语料库语言学的方法,运用语料库工具探析商务英语专业学士学位论文词块使用的总体产出特征及结构、功能和语体特征。研究结果显示:总体产出上,存在重复使用某些固定词块的倾向,对较长词块产出较为有限;在结构类型上,学生偏好the+名词+of属格名词结构,动词词块和句干词块产出偏低;功能类型方面,文本组织词块使用合理,体现了学位论文的逻辑严密和严谨性,商务专业词块有所产出但数量偏少;在语体上,过多使用a lot of,there be,we can see that等口语体表达手段,语篇体裁与语域意识较薄弱。研究结果有助于探索学士学位论文的写作特征和规律,为学术英语教学提供启示。

Based on the method of corpus linguistics,this study utilizes corpus tools to investigate the overall output,structural,functional and stylistic features of lexical bundles in Business English bachelor’s dissertation.The results show that,on the whole,there exists a tendency to reuse some fixed chunks,and the output of longer chunks is limited.On the structural type,seniors prefer subordinate noun structure of“the+N+of”,and the output of verb and clause bundles is low.In terms of functional category,the use of lexical bundles in text organization is reasonable,which reflects the close logic of Business English dissertation.The number of lexical bundles in business discipline is relatively small.From the aspect of stylistic expression,it employs many colloquial expressions such as there be,we can see that,a lot of etc.and students’genre and register consciousness are weak.The results are beneficial to explore the features and rules of bachelor’s dissertation,and provide enlightenment for academic English teaching.
