《蒲公英王朝》是美国华裔科幻作家刘宇昆的长篇科幻小说处女作,他在小说中以中国秦汉历史故事为基础,在架空世界中展开了关于技术装置的想象与历史推演,其中蕴含着源于中国文化传统的技术伦理建构。他在肯定技术进步意义的同时,在中国形象的书写中构建了一种以顺应自然、注重历史、承认多元为特征的伦理观念,形成了丝绸朋克式的科幻美学。

The Grace of Kings is the first novel of Ken Liu,American Chinese science fiction writer.Based on the historical stories of Qin and Han Dynasties in China,he unfolds the imagination of technological devices and historical deduction in the fictional world,which contains the construction of technological ethics originated from Chinese cultural tradition.While affirming the significance of technological progress,he constructs a kind of technological ethics characterized by complying with nature,valuing history,and recognizing pluralism,thus bringing into being a new science fiction aesthetics called silkpunk.
