摘要
“教育”之本质与核心是“生命教育”,作为通识教育的“生命教育”教学实务上常遭遇的两项障碍:第一是“言”与“意”的断裂问题;第二是因时空条件不同,而导致之生命经验难以传递之问题。这两个问题都使“生命教育”难以经由课堂讲说而完成。“生命教育”之教学目标在于摄智归仁,学习方法在于穷智见德,也就是将价值理念纳入学习者的身心之中,以持守“心”之清明与贞定。作为通识教育的“生命教育”的切入点在于经典教育,以经典之活化、深化与内化,唤醒学生生命之主体性。从朱子读书法中,提出“亲切”与“敬”作为21世纪经典阅读的两个关键词。
The substance and core of general education lies in“life education”.As a general education,“life education”often encounters two difficulties in teaching practice:(a)the rupture between language and realities and(b)the rupture of experience of different generations,which make“life education”difficult to complete through classroom lectures.The aim of life education lies in moral cultivation through the embodiment of values.This moral cultivation may best be achieved by attaining the imperturbability of heart-mind.Furthermore,the best cutting point of life education lies in the reading of classics.Reading of classics may establish and enhance the moral subjectivity of students′life.The two keywords in Zhu Xi′s method of reading classics,namely,“intimacy”and“composure”,are enlightening in the 21st century.
