战国至西汉长城防御体系对鄂尔多斯高原人口的影响

The Influence of the Great Wall Defense System from Warring States to Western Han Dynasty on the Population of Ordos Plateau

鄂尔多斯高原在战国时期处于中原王朝和游牧民族的冲突地带。秦国为了防御游牧民族,开始在此修筑长城。到了西汉时期,鄂尔多斯高原地区形成了完善的长城防御体系。鄂尔多斯高原的战国秦汉长城,在中原王朝向鄂尔多斯高原扩张的过程当中,结合当地的自然地理环境,和当时的历史背景,对此地的人口产生了一定的影响。其主要表现在人口的迁徙和分布上:因长城防御体系的修筑与维护的需求、边塞郡县等定居点的设立,中原王朝向鄂尔多斯高原迁徙大量人口;因长城防御体系的存在,游牧力量长期被隔绝在北边,其中的归降者则被中原王朝安置于长城沿线。

During the Warring States period,the Ordos Plateau was in the conflict zone between the Central Plains dynasty and nomadic people.In order to defend nomadic people,Qin began to build the Great Wall here.In the Western Han Dynasty,the Ordos Plateau formed a perfect Great Wall defense system,the Great Wall of the Warring States,Qin and Han dynasties in the Ordos Plateau.In the process of the expansion of the Central Plains dynasty to the Ordos Plateau,combined with the local natural and geographical environment and the historical background at that time,the population of the region had a certain impact.It is mainly manifested in the migration and distribution of population:due to the needs of the construction and maintenance of the Great Wall defense system,the establishment of settlements such as frontier counties,the Central Plains Dynasty migrated a large number of people to the Ordos Plateau.Because of the existence of the Great Wall defense system,nomadic forces were isolated in the north for a long time,and the returnees were placed along the Great Wall by the Central Plains Dynasty.
