摘要
MBBS专业课程是为留学生开设的全英授课项目,对于留学生的培养具有扩大学校国际影响力和提高教师英语教学水平的双重意义,需要探索出与中文授课的国内学生不一样的授课思路。为此,教研组针对其英文水平较高的特点,尝试通过开展文献自我阅读和讲授的课程,训练其自我学习能力。通过提前布置内容与所讲授内容相关的前沿文献,课上采用翻转课堂和教师总结讲解相结合,学生自我评价和教师评分相结合的评价模式,探索实践MBBS专业学生理论学习和自我学习相结合的模式,在使学生接受传统课堂教学的同时,培养自我学习能力。
MBBS course is an English teaching course designed for oversea students,the purpose of this course is for both the expansion of university's international reputation and the improvement of teachers'English teaching skills since the teaching of oversea students are dramatically different from Chinese students.Thus,based on the fact that oversea students'English level should be better than Chinese students,literature reading and presentation based classes were used to improve their self-study abilities.In order to do this,firstly,literature relevant to the subjects taught in classes were assigned to students before classes;secondly,flipped classroom style teaching were used;thirdly,the presentation of each student group were evaluated by both the teacher and rest of students in the class.In this way,the conventional teaching and self-learning were integrated in order to improve the students'self-learning ability as well as the learning from traditional classes.
