环境规制对我国旅游业碳排放的门槛效应及区域差异

Threshold Effect and Regional Differences of Environmental Regulation on Tourism Carbon Emission

为厘清环境规制对旅游业碳排放的影响效应,选取2001—2019年中国内地除西藏以外的30个省份的面板数据,设定环境规制为解释变量,分为费用型和投资型两种,设定旅游业碳排放为被解释变量,选取城市化和技术水平为阈值变量,构建面板数据模型,研讨两种类型的环境规制对旅游业碳排放的阈值作用及其在东、中、西各地域的差异性。结果表明:在全国及西部范围内,以城市化水平作为门槛变量时,费用型环境规制对旅游业碳排放存在单个阈值,而投资型环境规制对旅游业碳排放存在双重门槛效应,以技术水平作为阈值变量时,两种类型的环境规制对旅游业碳排放存在双重阈值效应;在东、中部地区,两种类型的环境规制在技术水平作用下对旅游业碳排放起抑制作用。

In order to clarify the impact of environmental regulation on tourism carbon emissions,this paper used the panel data of 30 provinces in China's Mainland except Tibet from 2001 to 2019,took the urbanization level and technical level as the threshold variables,took the environmental regulation as the explanatory variable,and di-vided it into two types:expense-type and investment-type,and took the tourism carbon emissions as interpreted var-iable,constructed the panel data models,and analyzed the threshold effects of environmental regulation on tourism carbon emissions and their regional differences in eastern,central and western China.The empirical results showed that:In the national and western regions,when urbanization was used as a threshold,expense-type environmental regulation had a single threshold for tourism carbon emissions,while investment-type environmental regulation had a double threshold effect on tourism carbon emissions,and when the technical level was used as a threshold variable,two types of environmental regulations had a double threshold effect on tourism carbon emissions.In the eastern and central regions,when the technical level was used as a threshold variable,two types of environmental regulations had a negative effect on tourism carbon emissions.
