Screening for those who may benefit from palliative care is the first key step to start palliative care.Through a systematic review of articles on palliative care screening for cancer patients in domestic and foreign literature,this paper summarizes the overview,timing,indications of screening,evaluation methods of indications,and processing methods of screening results,and emphasizes on describing the specific content of screening indications,aiming to provide some useful reference for the palliative care need screening of cancer patients in China.The results of palliative care screening show evaluation based on the diseases and needs of the cancer patients is crucial,allocation based on the existing palliative care resources in China is paramount,and enhancement of the palliative care ability of the medical staff is the fundamental.
