Dutch scholar Annemarie Mol discussed the issue of care for chronic patients in her book The Logic of Care:Active Patients and the Limits of Choice.She argued that the rationalist"choice"is the best way to improve the quality of health care in today's society,but"choice"cannot fully accommodate the complex needs of people in health care practice.The"logic of care"is proposed to challenge the notion that"choice"makes"good care".The"logic of care"emphasizes that the most critical action in care practice is not value judgment,but the process of engaging in practical activities and exploring and cooperating to bring better health and life to patients.This concept will help to deepen the discussion on the issue of chronic care in the academic community.
