A Study on the Narration and Dissemination of Architectural Culture Concerning Overseas Chinese on Gulangyu Island

鼓浪屿以“万国建筑博览”而闻名于世,其中涉侨建筑在历史风貌建筑中占80%以上。这些涉侨建筑体现了鼓浪屿融通中外、领厦门风气之先的特点,因此对其确立“容聚天下”的形象诉求,选择能够书写厦门历史和体现文化价值的故事,通过整合传播和多维传播,从而“讲好厦门故事”。

Gulangyu Island is well-known for its“World Architecture Exhibition”,and the buildings involving overseas Chinese account for more than 80%of the buildings with historical features.These buildings reflect the integration of China and foreign countries and the pioneering atmosphere of Xiamen city.They help build the city image of“gathering the world”and are rich in stories concerning Xiamen history and its cultural values.Through integrated communication and multi-dimensional narration,they“tell the Xiamen story well.”
