The application and significance of cleaner production in chemical industry,which is characterised with high resource consumption and heavy pollution,were analysed.Taking papermaking and electroplating industries as cases,the importance of cleaner production was discussed,and key points in environmental protection work in production processes were expounded.Meanwhile,ways and measures for effectively minimising environmental pollution in various production processes have been proposed.
