人文之“用”与科学之“诗性”

The“Use”of Humanities and the“Poetry”of Science

人文与科学的差别被人为夸大,人们对于它们之间的共通性和互补性认识不足,这妨碍了我们去积极应对人类社会面临的一些危机与挑战。新文科背景下,有必要进一步思考如何促进人文与科学的融合,对此本文提出三点建议:一、强调人文的行动力,让知识的生产更好地服务于社会的发展需求;二、通过学科交叉,充分发挥人文研究改变世界的潜力;三、通过让科技与人文携起手来,共同推动社会的可持续发展。总之,高等教育要致力于实现人文与科学的均衡发展与交叉融合。

The fact that the differences between humanities and sciences are to some extent exaggerated leads to insufficient recognition of their compatibility and complementarity,which is detrimental to the solution of the crises and challenges that our societies are confronted with.Under the background of new humanities,it is necessary to reflect on ways to advance the integration of the two,namely,to emphasize the act of humanities and let knowledge better serve the needs of social development,to fulfill the potential of humanities for the transformation of the world through its convergence with science,and to build up sustainable development with the joint efforts of sciences and humanities.In a word,higher education should strive at a balanced development and interdisciplinary integration between humanities and sciences.
