The gas-turbine driven compressor units not only ensures the smooth operation of the long-distance natural gas transportation project, but also emits pollutants such as NO_(x) and CO.According to the actual operation conditions of long-distance natural gas transportation project in western China, the emission concentration monitoring of NO_(x) and CO in tail gas of gas-turbine driven compressor units made by GE and RR in summer and winter was carried out to investigate the influence of seasonal variation, tail gas O2 emission concentration, compressor unit speed and combustion chamber outlet temperature(HT)on tail gas NO_(x) and CO emission. The results show that with the increase in unit speed and combustor outlet temperature, the NO_(x) concentration of the exhaust gas of the unit increases gradually, showing a significant positive correlation, while the CO emission concentration shows a negative correlation; At the same operating speed, the NO_(x) emission concentration of GE unit in winter is significantly lower than that in summer, while the CO emission characteristics of RR unit show the same trend. In order to control NO_(x) emission, the gas turbine driven compressor units should adjust the operating speed. At the same time, water injection or combination with catalytic reduction technology are effective emission reduction measures.
