The process flow of trivalent chromium silver-white passivation for alkalicly electroplated zinc coatings on auto lock parts was introduced,which mainly includes bright dipping,trivalent chromium iridescent passivation,sealing,blow-drying,and baking.The process conditions of each step and its effect on the passivation effectiveness were described.Some matters needing attention during the daily maintenance of the process were pointed out.
