子女务工时代乡村特色产业发展与农村家庭养老

Family Eldercare and the Development of Specialty Industries in Rural China Where Young People Migrate for Work

分析了成年子女外出务工时代农村家庭养老问题,探讨了乡村特色产业发展对农村家庭养老的影响。研究发现:农村老年人面临的经济支持弱化、生活照料缺失、精神慰藉匮乏等家庭养老问题,均受到成年子女外出务工的影响;乡村振兴战略背景下特色产业发展主要通过三条路径影响农村家庭养老——增加有劳动能力老年人的自身劳动收入,直接改善家庭经济支持状况;留住子女就地就近就业或吸引外出务工子女返乡就业,综合改善家庭养老状况;进行乡风文明建设,传承孝道文化,间接改善农村家庭养老。

This paper analyzed issues related to family eldercare in rural China where young people migrate for work, and explored the influence of specialty industries on rural family care.It is found that weakening financial support, lack of daily care and absence of spiritual comfort confronted by rural older people are all resulted from their children’s migration. Against the background of rural vitalization, the development of specialty industries affects rural family care mainly through the following three ways. Firstly, increasing income of older adults with the ability to work and directly improving their family support. Secondly, attracting young people to work in situ or return home, comprehensively improving rural family care. Thirdly, promoting rural civilization and filial piety, indirectly improving family eldercare in rural China.
